Presented by Jacqueline Suares and Douglas Ball
A Really Useful Network – Synchronicity or Serendipity?
dKnet – Disability Knowledge Network – is a network of 8 community service providers initially established via the DHS – CSIF project with the aim of implementing a user-friendly, efficient and effective web based document management system capable of demonstrating compliance across a range of arenas.
The 8 member organisations are collectively representative of rural and urban regions, are both large and small in operation, and provide community services across a broad spectrum. The presentation details the journey of dKnet, the implementation of ‘eKey – the key to excellenceÒ‘, and particularly focuses on the independent evaluation findings, their relevance to the sector and how collaborative efforts can lead to better outcomes for people with a disability.
